The Church by the Side of the Road, famous for its singing canaries and Gothic architecture, has been the site for thousands of beautiful weddings and renewed vows for over 30 years. In 1994, the tradition for memorable weddings and renewed vows has been continued by new owners Andrea Marconi Bates and Wayne Bates. The operation and care of the Church is handled by Andrea who is a Professional Wedding Coordinator. Andrea and Wayne are local Rockton residents, who with the support of family and friends, are taking great pride in the preservation of the Church by the Side of the Road.

 
   
   
The church is non-denominational, seats 100 to 130 people, and is available to the public for private weddings, renewal of marriage vows, baptisms, and in 1995 for Sunday services. Special services are offered for Mother's Day, Father's Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter.

 
   
   
The Church is professionally operated by a staff of Ordained Ministers, Organist, Soloists and a Wedding Coordinator. The staff is committed to making the private ceremonies, be they weddings, renewal of marriage vows, or baptisms, memorable and enjoyable.
